Task and Finish Groups (TFGs) are established by scrutiny committees to carry out time-limited examinations of specific issues of interest or concern. This may include reviewing particular proposals or decisions as well as giving input to policy development.
They are small cross-party working groups of interested county councillors who review an issue in depth.
