Swalcliffe Park School is a non-maintained charitable trust providing specialist education and care for boys aged 11 to 19 years.
Placements are funded by Local Authorities from throughout the UK on a day or residential basis. Residential boarding options include weekly, two weekly, termly or 52 week placements. The school can also provide weekend and school holiday respite for its current students. The school is registered as a Children's Home.

What we do

  • Swalcliffe Park's thorough approach to selection, assessment for admission, transition and induction ensures that the student's needs and strengths can be matched to those of existing students as well to the school's curriculum, approach and environment
  • There is regular home-school communication and each family has a personal communication plan. Keyworkers and tutors exchange information with parents/carers on a weekly basis
  • All teachers, Learning Support Assistants and Residential care staff have been trained at Level 2 of the Autism Education Trust's Formal accreditation programme.
  • All Residential staff have been trained at Diploma Level 3 (Children's and Young People's Workforce), and Residential managers have been trained at Diploma Level 5(Leadership for Health and Social Care in Children's and Young People's Services)
  • All educational facilities are on ground floor level. There are a significant number of ground floor bedrooms in the residential setting. One specific bedroom has wheelchair access throughout. Disabled toilets are available on site. Disabled Parking
