Speech and Language Link believes that every family should have access to home resources to support their child's needs. Our award-winning 'Parent Portal' provides engaging videos, games and everyday activities for developing a child's speech, language and communication at home. Covering each stage of your child's development, our portal was created by speech and language therapists and aims to make it as easy as possible for you to help you support your child in reaching their full potential.

What we do

• Our speech activities will help your child to hear the difference between speech sounds (sound discrimination) and to identify sounds at the beginning and ends of words (phonics). These skills are important for both talking and reading.
• Our language activities will help develop your child's ability to follow instructions, understand talking and learn new words more easily.
• As well as finding fun games and activities on the Parent Portal, you will also find blogs and guidance on speech and language in the home to help you support your children the best you can.
• The Speech Link Parent Portal is always being updated with new games, activities and tips for parents and school staff to access for free.
