This service is a community-based, nurse-led, specialist paediatric continence service helping children and young people in West Sussex and Brighton and Hove experiencing constipation, soiling, day wetting and night wetting (enuresis).

What we do

  • We are a community-based, nurse-led, specialist paediatric continence service helping children and young people in West Sussex. We work closely with a wide variety of health, education, and social care professionals.
  • Before you are referred to the team, the first level of support for children and young people suffering with continence issues can be delivered by various healthcare professionals including GPs, health visitors or school nurses.
  • Our webpage contains advice and information about constipation, daytime wetting, night wetting and toilet training. We also offer links to useful videos and other resources.
