National Autistic Society (NAS) Online Book Club is an accessible, online socialising opportunity for adults who have autism. About our Online Book Club: Our Book Club is a place exclusively for autistic adults (18+) and their families to share their interest in reading. Once a month we hold an online meeting, where members chat about the different books or audiobooks they have read that month. We also sometimes have special online club events, such as ‘meet the author’ sessions (for published writers who are autistic or whose books feature autism, or both). Our volunteers and members are all book lovers and we're a friendly group who will take an interest in any genre or (book related) topic. Attendees: We respect that we all have our own individual preferences in terms of how we wish to participate in the sessions, so attendees can choose to either actively contribute at the sessions, or simply watch/ listen to the discussion of others- whichever they feel comfortable with! Likewise, they can choose whether to have their camera on or off during the club sessions. We hope to hear from you by email if you are interested in joining or would like more information!
