We support children, adults, families, schools/colleges and social services to help those with or without a diagnosis of Autism. We work in co-production with the family offering parenting support through positive behavioural strategies based on a personalised assessment. We facilitate strategies to help reduce anxiety, challenging behaviours and emotional storms. We offer training and advice to schools through INSET. We offer Coaching, Mentoring and Counselling to promote emotional resilience.
What we do
- We understand that often, as parents of a child with additional needs or Autism, we can doubt our parenting capacity. We can work alongside to empower and support you to re-establish your parenting equilibrium and build resilience.
- Our service is person centred and facilitates change through understanding the complexity of living with Autism and other additional needs. It seeks to determine how each individual is best suited to adopt strategies for their unique circumstances.
- The service is for children and their parents, their families, schools and colleges, adults of all ages, those working in social service and those who provide support around Autism and other additional needs.
- Our experienced staff have held a range of roles including, counsellor, coach, mentor, teacher, SENDCo, trainer, lecturer and family worker. Delivering training to social services, teachers and police on Autism and additional needs.
- Counselling and all services will be, where ever possible, face to face. It may also include telephone or Skype opportunities or other virtual platforms.
