BrightTeach SEND Tuition

About

This is an independent alternative provider of education (IAP), which is part of the West Sussex County Council's Dynamic Purchasing System. If you would like to access IAP, please follow the Local Offer guide at Independent Alternative Provision.

At BrightTeach we believe that every child and young person should be able to access quality education and have the opportunity to succeed.

What we do

  • At BrightTeach we specialise in providing bespoke 1:1 tutoring for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Our tutors are experienced in supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs, and our in-house SEND Team works jointly with parents/carers and commissioners to carefully match tutors with children and young people. The matching process carefully considers the child/young person’s strengths and needs, alongside the experiences and skills of our tutors. The matching process seeks to ensure a positive relationship focused on achieving the child or young person’s educational aspirations can be established.
  • Tuition approaches and targets are individualised and the provision in place is adaptive and flexible to ensure needs are met and progress is made.
  • Tuition can be provided at home or within alternative local venues (such as libraries and family centres).
  • BrightTeach runs a small number of group tuition arrangements.

A lovely tutor who has engaged brilliantly with my daughter. …. has helped my daughter so much with her learning and helped her with her confidence in learning and just taking part. Positive experience throughout. Our tutor was absolutely amazing.
