Family Hub SEND events

Free sensory and messy play sessions for families with a child with SEND up to age 11 and their siblings.

Join us for lots of sensory and messy play!

You do not need a diagnosis to attend these sessions. Visit our sensory rooms, play on the magic carpets and have fun inside and out, finishing with song time.

These sessions are open to all families with a child with SEND up to age 11 and their siblings.

All events are free of charge, but booking is essential.

SEND stay and play sessions at Horsham Family Hub

Date: Tuesday 4 August 2026, 10am to 11.30am or 1pm to 2.30pm.

A safe space for play, development and meeting other families. Sessions include sensory and messy play and they are a great place to meet other families and ask for information, advice and guidance on any queries you may have.

Date: Monday 17 August 2026, 10am to 11.30am or 1.30pm to 3pm.

A safe space for play, development and meeting other families. Sessions include sensory and messy play and they are a great place to meet other families and ask for information, advice and guidance on any queries you may have.

Free monthly SEND Stay and Play session at the Adur West Family Hub.

Explore the sensory room, get busy with arts and crafts and play in the new outside area.

Every last Thursday of the month, 10.30am to 12 noon.

Sensory room bookings at Adur East Family Hub (Shoreham)

A ‘magic carpet’ room that families can book, for free, throughout the summer holidays. This is a big interactive floor mat with lots of games and sensory programmes.

Sensory rooms, a sensory toy library and a garden area.

Open from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
