Checking that groups, clubs and activities are safe and right for you.
Most groups, clubs and activities are independent services, which are not run by West Sussex County Council. The services on the Local Offer directory are not checked by the county council and including them on the Local Offer website does not mean that they are a recommended service.
Before using any services or taking part in clubs and activities, we recommend you make your own checks. Your checks should include being happy that:
- the service will meet your needs
- staff are properly qualified
- policies are in place to keep everyone safe
- you know how much the service will cost
