SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIAS)
Offering accurate, up to date and impartial information about the law on special educational needs and disabilities.
SENDIAS provide information in many ways including:
- through their website
- a written blog
- resources, such as guides and printable factsheets.
Support can also include helping with letters, attending meetings with you or supporting you in discussions with the local authority, school or other setting. This support may be offered through SENDIAS volunteers.
The service will also do their best to tell you about, or put you in touch with, other groups or organisations that can help. If you feel they may be able to help you, see the SENDIAS How we work page.
Advisers from the SENDIAS service attend events and deliver training. For more information see the events page.
If you are interested in volunteering for the SENDIAS, visit the Volunteer for us page.
