July 2026 - The West Sussex Economic Growth Board (WSEGB) is seeking an independent business Chair to provide strategic leadership and champion the county’s business community at a local, regional and national level.

The West Sussex Economic Growth Board (WSEGB) is looking for an independent business Chair to lead the board and represent businesses across the county at local, regional and national levels.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced business leader to help support economic growth and strengthen the local economy. The Chair will work with councils, businesses and education organisations at an important time for Sussex, including working with the new Sussex & Brighton Strategic Authority.

We are looking for a leader who works well with others, builds strong relationships and can influence decision-makers. You will have experience of strategic leadership, serving on boards and working with a wide range of partners.
