Screen Archive South East
West Sussex Record Office is the repository and conservation centre of Screen Archive South East (SASE), covering Sussex, Kent and Surrey.
The screen archive collects, preserves and promotes moving images made in or relating to the south east of England.
The archive includes:
- newsreels
- corporate documentaries
- promotional material
- feature films
- home movies
- local footage from private collections.
Viewing the collection
Material can be viewed by appointment at the SASE Office at the University of Brighton and our Record Office.
A catalogue of selected films from the film archive can be viewed on the Screen Search catalogue of the SASE website.
