Elections

County Council elections take place every four years. The next county council elections will be in May 2013 when all 71 council seats will be up for election.

Register of members' and officers' interests

Members' allowances

The County Council pays allowances to its members to cover the expenses they incur in being a local councillor. Allowances are set following recommendations by an independent panel.
