4 What happens next?

A traffic signals engineer will attend both the switch off and switch on.

Should there be any delay at either stage of the switch out, you must phone us with a minimum of 2 hours' notice to rearrange the time. Failure to do this could incur further charges or result in the switch out being aborted.

  • Phone: 0808 164 2260

If the site is unoccupied for the switch off the engineer will wait for 15 minutes and then call the site contact. If the call is unanswered a voicemail will be left, if possible. They will wait a further 15 minutes before making a final phone call to the site contact.

If no communication has been made after 30 minutes the engineer will leave the site, which could incur a charge for an aborted visit.
