West Sussex County Council Chief Executive, Becky Shaw said: “From his work at Slough Borough Council and Oxfordshire City Council, Alan is bringing with him a wealth of experience across all aspects of adult social care, partnership working, particularly with the NHS and with people who use our services and delivering improvement programmes.

“Alan will be a huge asset to us leading the department, working closely with Members and as a member of our Executive Leadership Team, and I am delighted we have been able to welcome him to West Sussex.”

Alan Sinclair said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at West Sussex County Council and I’m looking forward to working with colleagues and Members to further develop the good work taking place in Adults Services and Public Health.”
