What we do

Our main responsibility is to prevent re-offending by children and young people aged 10–17. However, we are increasingly involved with our partner agencies in developing initiatives aimed at preventing offending from occurring.

We have a prevention team that specialises in working with young people who are at risk of offending and may have received a final warning. These young people are offered a specialist programme of intervention aimed at diverting them from further offending.

We have a large volunteer programme and encourage members of the community to work with us to create safer communities. If you would like to work with us, please phone our volunteer coordinator at our Worthing office.

We also have a wide range of programmes designed for working with parents and carers.

We have offices and teams in Worthing and Crawley as we like to try to see people in their own communities.
