The Youth Offending Service
It is in the interests of any community to prevent and reduce
crime, particularly crime committed by children and young

The primary function of the Youth Offending Service is to
prevent re-offending by children and young people aged 10–17.

in developing initiatives aimed at preventing offending from

received a final warning. These young people are offered a
specialist programme of intervention aimed at diverting them from
