In West Sussex we have a rich and varied natural environment. We have a duty to conserve biodiversity; our work includes owning and managing several wildlife sites as well as supporting and partnering other organisations. They include:

Sites of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI) have regional or local conservation value. For queries about SNCIs and how they are designated, contact the Sussex Biodiversity Record Centre.
