Traffic cones and barriers

How to dispose of traffic cones and barriers.

Traffic cones and barriers in a road

Do not dispose of these at home. Traffic cones and barriers are accepted at all of our recycling centres (RC) as part of the hard plastics recycling trial.

  • Which RC container

    Use the hard plastics container.

If the feet of the cone or barrier are a rubbery material, remove these parts and place them in the general waste container.

  • Which RC accept this waste

All our recycling centres accept hard plastics.

  • Further information

If you require further assistance, ask a staff member at the RC or contact Waste Management Services on 01243 642106.
