Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee on Fit for the Future
A Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (Joint HOSC) was set up to scrutinise NHS West Sussex (formerly West Sussex PCT) and NHS Brighton & Hove (formerly Brighton & Hove City Primary Care Trust) proposals to change local acute (hospital) services and plans for community services.
As NHS West Sussex's proposals had an impact on more than one Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (HOSC) area, the Joint HOSC was made up of representatives from the relevant local authorities, as set out below:
- West Sussex County Council
- East Sussex County Council
- Hampshire County Council
- Brighton and Hove City Council
- Surrey County Council
- Portsmouth City Council
The Joint HOSC's report and evidence for its referral are available from the downloads section on this page.
A copy of the report is also available in all libraries throughout the county.
