Twenty-two standard charge points are available at locations across West Sussex as part of the Energise Network.
The Network covers West Sussex, East Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Kent and Surrey, but members also have access to charging points in other areas of the UK that are connected to the Charge Your Car network.

Locations of charge points
Rapid charge points
These provide an 80% charge in around 30 minutes and are located at:
- Pease Pottage service station
- the South Downs Centre in Midhurst
- Six Bells car park in Billingshurst
- Storrington Library car park
- Crawley Town Hall.
Fast charge points
These provide a full charge in 2-3 hours and are available at 8 Southern Railway stations, as well as at a number of local supermarkets and car dealerships.Search for EV charging points in West Sussex and across the UK. (external link)
Cost of charging your vehicle in West Sussex
West Sussex County Council does not own, manage or receive income from any electric charging points in West Sussex. The 22 standard charge points in the county are owned and maintained by the district councils. Most of these provide free electricity and parking to electric vehicle users, although parking charges may apply in some areas.
Charges for electricity and parking may apply at rapid and fast charge sites.
