The majority of the real-time information displays at bus stops now feature a special audio facility to make bus travel easier for passengers with visual impairments, learning or reading difficulties.
Request an audio key fob
The audio 'key fobs' are available from the County Council and are free of charge.
Using the audio service
To activate the audio facility simply press the unique 'key fob' device when you are within one metre of the bus stop display screen. The following announcement will be audible:
- the current time
- the name of the bus stop
- the service number, destination and arrival times of any buses due within the next 30 minutes.
