A prize winning local poet will be entertaining at Worthing Library with some of his literary works.

Jonathan Bryant, whose work has been featured on BBC Radio, in the Daily Mail and The People’s Friend, will be giving a light hearted-poetry performance on Tuesday 2 February.

His poetry has taken him across Sussex, with a love of rambling and wandering helping inspire his work.

Jonathan said: “Now my ramblings are more in the literary sense; not only do I wander through my memory banks, sifting and searching, I also rely on imagination coupled with occasional eureka moments.”

He will be reading from his published works: Poems for the Family; Poems to Lift the Spirit; Images in verse and Ramblings of a Sussex Poet.

The event is taking place as part of Worthing Library’s monthly lunchtime talk programme, which takes place on the first Tuesday of every month.

They are free to attend with all welcome, whether you are looking for stimulation during a lunch break or to learn something new.

The lunchtime talk will be from 12.10pm until 12.50pm at Worthing Library, Richmond Road, BN11 1HD.
