The outcome of public consultation on proposals to improve mental health services for adults and older people in West Sussex will be discussed by the council’s Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee (HASC) next week.

The meeting will be accessible to members of the public who will be able to watch a webcast of the meeting, which will start from 10.30am on Wednesday, 24 February.

The Committee will consider the public consultation on proposals by the West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Members will consider the changes made to the original preferred option, which was presented to the HASC at its formal meeting on 12 June 2019.

They will discuss the activity undertaken during the public consultation, the issues raised and how they have been addressed in the final revised proposals.

The full report to be reviewed by HASC members, along with the meeting agenda and a link to the webcast, is now available on the Council’s website.
