West Sussex County Council’s Health and Adult Social Care Select Committee (HASC) will meet on Friday, March 15, at County Hall, Chichester from 10.30am.
Joining the meeting to update the committee on the location of radiotherapy services for West Sussex residents will be Fiona Mackison, the service specialist for NHS England South East.
She will deliver a presentation to the committee detailing the findings of a national public consultation on how the wider service should be delivered.

Also on the agenda of Friday’s meeting will be the Adults’ Services Improvement Programme, which will provide further information to the committee regarding progress of a three year improvement programme and vision and strategy for adult social care.
Members of the committee will further consider a ‘review and refresh’ of the Dementia Framework 2020 – 2025, first drawn up in 2014 in partnership with the county’s three Clinical Commissioning Groups to provide an agenda for dementia care within the county.
HASC has 20 members, made up of 12 county councillors, seven district and borough councillors and one local HealthWatch member (non-voting).
