New Cabinet Member at West Sussex County Council

Amanda Jupp has been announced as the County Council Cabinet Member for Adults and Health.

A change has been announced to the Cabinet at West Sussex County Council. 

Amanda Jupp has been appointed as the Cabinet Member for Adults and Health.

Her portfolio includes:

  • adult social care
  • adult safeguarding
  • health and wellbeing
  • public health (in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People for relevant business).

The role will also involve working in liaison with the County Council Leader on health partnership liaison.

Mrs Jupp’s appointment follows Peter Catchpole’s decision last week to step down as the Cabinet Member for Health and Deputy Leader.

The change took effect from Wednesday 2 August.
