Make sure your motor is fit for the spring sunshine!

Release date: 23 March 2017

Firefighters are preparing to make your motor shiny and clean at local upcoming charity car wash events over the next two weeks.

Crews from Henfield and Arundel will be rolling up their sleeves and splashing the soap suds in exchange for a charitable donation this weekend. While firefighters from Bognor Regis will be out in force a week later to add that spring sparkle to your vehicle.

To get your motor cleaned pop down to:

• Henfield Fire Station: Saturday 25th March, 09:00-13:00
• Arundel Fire Station: Saturday 25th March, 10:00-15:00
• Bognor Regis Fire Station: Saturday 1st April, 10:00-15:00.

Crew Manager at Arundel Fire Station, Steve Lucas, said: “Charity car wash events are the perfect occasion to meet local residents and interact with our community, while at the same time raising money for an amazing charity.

“The Fire Fighters Charity is a cause close to all of our hearts and we want to ensure as many people as possible are aware of the fantastic work they do. We hope to see lots of people at the stations this Saturday, getting their cars, vans, bikes or scooters washed!”

The events are taking place to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity. This is the only charity to provide treatment to firefighters, physically or psychologically, in their time of need.
