Chichester Library is hosting a talk about Asperger's Syndrome and hypnosis.

It will be given by Dan Jones, hypnotherapy trainer and Author of Look Into My Eyes: Asperger's, Hypnosis, & Me, who has Asperger's Syndrome.

The free talk takes place on Thursday 27 October from 12.10pm to 12.50pm.

Dan will share how learning and doing meditation and hypnosis as a child has helped him to be able to focus his attention, manage anxiety, and improve his social communication skills. This has enabled him to work in residential care homes with people with behavioural difficulties, autism spectrum disorder and mental health problems, and in other family support roles.

Dan will also share the strengths and challenges of having Asperger's Syndrome and what everyday life is like for him.

No booking is necessary but please arrive early to avoid disappointment. For further information please contact Chichester Library on 01243 777351 or email chichester.library@westsussex.gov.uk.

The talk is the latest in the popular series of lunchtime talks. Each talk is on the last Thursday of the month.

Event to take place at Chichester Library, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1QJ.
