Release date: 3 July 2020

Paul Marshall, Leader of West Sussex County Council, has welcomed the reopening of some businesses this weekend.

Paul Marshall said: “The reopening of our pubs, restaurants, hairdressers, cinemas, museums and attractions this weekend is to be welcomed. However this virus has not gone away so I would urge everyone not to jeopardise the good progress our county has made so far in slowing the spread of the virus. Support our businesses and make the most of the relaxation, but continue to take the necessary precautions at all time.”
