Looking for a day out with a difference? Then step back into the Chichester of yesteryear in the ‘If Walls Could Talk’ Edes House Tour.

The 90 minute tour starts at 10.30am with tea, coffee and cake in the foyer.

Then, as you walk round the wood-panelled rooms you can almost hear the echoes of the past, which experienced guide Hilly brings to life with interesting anecdotes and stories about Chichester and the people who lived in the city in years gone by.

Grade 1 listed Edes House was built in 1696, and is a fine example of a Georgian mansion, nestling in the heart of historic Chichester.

The house holds weddings, ceremonies, and a whole host of events, as well as the tours, which this year will take place on
• Monday 8 February
• Monday 18 April
• Monday 20 June
• Thursday 15 August
• Sunday 9 October .

The cost is £16.95 per person (concessions available). For more details call 01243 777265 or visit www.facebook.com/EdesHouse
