Fire service improvement progress update on agenda at select committee

West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service’s Chief Fire Officer will give an update on the service’s improvement progress at a meeting next week.

Sabrina Cohen-Hatton will give an update to West Sussex County Council’s Environment, Communities and Fire Scrutiny Committee on the progress made since an inspection report was published into the service by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services last year.

The meeting will take place on Monday 13 January from 10.30am at County Hall in Chichester.

Other items on the meeting agenda include:

  • Progress on the Road Safety Framework following a report from the Director of Highways, Transport and Planning
  • A discussion on the Draft Transport Strategy for the South East.
