Crews from Worthing Fire Station and members of our Prevention team will be on-hand, providing tips on how to stay safe on the road and prevent fires in the home.
Area Manager for Protection, Garry Collins, said: “We’re really looking forward to meeting local business owners and helping to resolve any fire safety concerns they may have, in order to create a safer environment for everyone involved in business management and public safety.
“Fire safety in the workplace is a legal requirement for all employers, as they are liable for the safety of staff and site visitors. Therefore we will be available to help with tasks, such as completing fire risks assessments, to ensure they’re fully understood by everyone responsible.
“Last year West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service attended 29 industrial building fires, and with more businesses returning to the workplace, ensuring premises are safe has never been more important. So please, pop along, meet the team and find out more.”
