Events to encourage more people to think about working in care and the career opportunities available

More people are needed to provide vital care and support for residents across West Sussex.

To support local care recruitment West Sussex County Council Proud to Care team are holding special care recruitment events in Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill to encourage more people to think about working in care and the career opportunities available.

People will have the opportunity to speak to local care providers and find out about local jobs opportunities available now.

These events are part of ongoing campaigns to recruit more care workers across West Sussex, the drop in events will take place on:

• Monday 17 June from 10am – 2pm at Clair Hall, Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 3DN

• Wednesday 26 June from 10am – 2pm at Burgess Hill Theatre, 103 Church Walk, Burgess Hill, RH15 9AS

Amanda Jupp, Cabinet Member for Adults and Health, said: “Working in care is a rewarding job, where you can make a positive difference to people’s lives every day. If you or anyone you know are interested in finding out more about local jobs and career opportunities I would recommend coming along to one of these events.”
