People can book tickets to attend the meeting or watch it live on our website

Released: 23 June, 2021

On Wednesday, 30 June 2021, the Children and Young People’s Services scrutiny committee will be meeting at County Hall, Chichester.

Items on the agenda include an update on the Children First Improvement Programme including the Fostering Service redesign proposals. The Chairman and Vice Chairman for the committee will also be elected.

The final proposals for the Early Help Service were due to be discussed at the meeting next week. However, following the response to the public consultation, further work and time is needed to evaluate the consultation responses and the implications of final proposals.

Read more about the items on the agenda which will be discussed and watch the meeting live from 10.30am on 30 June on our website.

The public gallery will be open for members of the public wishing to attend and view the meeting in person but with much-reduced capacity to allow for social distancing. Admission is via ticket only, bookable via email request to democratic.services@westsussex.gov.uk

An additional meeting of the Children and Young People’s Services scrutiny committee will be held on Tuesday, 20 July 2021 to discuss the final Early Help proposals. This meeting will be held virtually and webcast live.
