Bognor Fire Station will be holding an Open Day and welcoming the local community as they open up their doors.

Crews at the fire station, on West Meads Drive, have planned a variety of exciting events for all the family on Saturday 22nd October 2016, from 10am until 4pm.

The open day is a great opportunity for members of the public to personally speak to their local firefighters, take a look around the station and see specialist equipment that the crew use.

Throughout the day colleagues from other local services including: Littlehampton’s RNLI, Neighbourhood Watch, Community First Responders and local PCSO’s, are taking part in the event, showing how all the services closely work together to help maintain a safe community.

  • Attractions on the day include:
  • Fire engine rides
  • Rescue demonstrations
  • Drink drive simulations
  • Chip pan demonstrations
  • Face painting
  • Raffle
  • Barbecue and refreshments

The event is free entry and it is in partnership with Parents4Parents, an organisation which helps to improve the lives of children and families.
