An evening with a top West Sussex author

Hear from Isabel Ashdown at Chichester Library on 26 May.

Spend an evening with local author Isabel Ashdown at Chichester Library as she discusses her latest novel Flight.

Isabel Ashdown's first novel Glasshopper (Observer Best Debuts 2009, Evening Standard Best Books of the Year) won the Mail on Sunday Novel Competition. Her second, Hurry Up and Wait was an iTunes Number 1 bestseller. Summer of '76, her third novel, was published to critical acclaim in 2013.

Flight is a novel about the complexities of parenthood, love and friendship. It explores the mystery behind one woman’s decision to leave her family, and its consequences.

Isabel Ashdown’s powerful fourth novel confirms her as a masterful storyteller of the extraordinary drama of ordinary lives.

Isabel's books will be available to buy for cash or cheque at a discount on the night.

The talk will be on Thursday 26 May at 7.30pm, Chichester Library, Tower St, PO19 1QJ. Tickets: £4, available from the library. 01243 777351 chichester.library@westsussex.gov.uk
