A Lancing based company has entered into a new partnership with Trading Standards to help aid business growth.
Fizz Creations Ltd., a novelty gift supplier, and West Sussex Trading Standards have entered into a Primary Authority Partnership.
This partnership, approved by the Better Regulatory Development Office last week, is the fifth of its kind for West Sussex Trading Standards.
Primary Authority Partnerships were established in 2008 and aim to reduce regulatory burdens for businesses.
Jenny Fry, Head of Quality Assurance at Fizz Creations Ltd., said: “Fizz Creations is committed to maintaining high standards of product compliance and we look forward to a successful partnership with West Sussex County Council’s Trading Standards Service.”
The partnership will provide Fizz Creation Ltd. with a single point of contact for Trading Standards, which will help lower compliance costs and allow the business to grow.
David Barling, West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member with responsibility for Trading Standards, added: “As Fizz Creations distributes to businesses across the UK, this partnership will enable them to have a named contact within one Trading Standards authority for all queries.”
“Such partnerships allow companies to get the best possible advice on compliance to enable their business to grow.”
