A novel talk at Chichester Library

Come along to a free lunchtime talk at the library

Release date: 8 May 2017

Join Chichester Library for the next in their popular series of drop-in Lunchtime Talks.
At this talk, on Thursday 25 May 12.10pm to 12.50pm, local author Merryn Allingham discusses her latest novel The Buttonmaker’s Daughter, a story set around a country house in Sussex at the start of WW1.
Praised for her careful research and attention to detail, Merryn’s writing perfectly brings to life the experiences of real people during this time.
The Buttonmaker’s Daughter captures the everyday lives of people in Britain as events in Europe came to a head.
The talk, at Chichester Library, Tower Street, PO19 1QJ, is free, there is no need to book. But please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
For further information please contact Chichester Library on 01243 777351 or chichester.library@westsussex.gov.uk
Each lunchtime talk is on the last Thursday of the month from 12.10pm to 12.50pm.
