A celebration of poetry at Chichester Library

An evening of live poetry and music is being held at Chichester Library on Thursday 22 March.

An evening of live poetry and music is being held at Chichester Library on Thursday 22 March.

Acclaimed poet, Tamar Yoseloff, will be reading from ‘A Formula for Night: New and Selected Poems’, plus favourite poems from her back catalogue.

Marking the start of the 2018 South Downs Poetry Festival, the event will also give local writers the chance to read their own poems.

Live music will be provided by Linda Kelsall-Barnett on classical guitar.

Readers and listeners are equally welcome.

The event starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are £7 including a glass of wine and are available from Chichester Library, in Tower Street, by phoning 01243 777351 or by emailing chichester.library@westsussex.gov.uk.
