A celebration of poetry and live music

A series of open mic poetry events is continuing at Chichester Library with a special visit from distinguished poet and editor Jeremy Page.

Following National Poetry Day at the end of September, Chichester Library will be featuring a reading from Jeremy Page and his latest collection called ‘Closing Time’, as well as airing some of his new poetry.

The event on Thursday 5 October at 7.30pm will also give local writers the chance to read their own poems. Any style or subject is welcome.

Live music provided by Linda Kelsall-Barnett on classical guitar.

Readers and listeners are equally welcome.

Jeremy Page writes fiction and plays, as well as editing the acclaimed literary journal, The Frogmore Papers.

Tickets are £7 including a glass of wine and are available from Chichester Library, in Tower Street, by phoning 01243 777351 or by emailing chichester.library@westsussex.gov.uk.
