Listening Books is a national UK charity, providing an audiobook lending service for those that find reading difficult due to an illness, disability, learning or mental health difficulty. Members can borrow and download/stream titles on a computer or portable device such as an Android device or iPhone.

What we do

  • Provide an audiobook lending service
  • Members can access books to stream to a computer or download to a portable device such as a tablet or phone.
  • Anyone in the UK that finds it difficult to read or hold a book due to an illness, disability, learning or mental health difficulty can become a member
  • We sometimes have funding for free memberships for those that would be unable to afford our subsidised membership fee
