Library computers, internet access and WiFi

Access library computers and free WiFi.

All our libraries have free WiFi, as well as computers with internet access, email services and Microsoft Office applications. You can use USB memory sticks on all our computers.

Library members may use the computers for free, for a maximum of two hours per day. Visitors will be charged £1.50 per hour. If you are not a member, you can join for free.

There is access to eInformation: The Online Reference Library, a collection of high-quality reference and information resources, and hundreds of recommended websites. Members using WiFi can also log on and use this for free.

Under 16s will need to provide a signed parental consent form, available from libraries, to use the internet.

Contact your local library if you wish to use one of our computers, as some operate a booking system.

There is a small charge for print-outs taken from our computers:

  • 1 black and white printout - £0.20
  • 1 colour printout - £0.60
