Enquiries and information service

How the Library Service can help you find information, assist with research or answer homework enquiries.

Enquiry service

Are you:

  • a student stuck with your geography homework
  • a local historian researching a local building
  • thinking of starting your own business
  • a family historian on the trail of a long lost ancestor
  • trying to find a phone number?

If so, our team of information librarians will help you access all the information you need. Just call in to your local library or complete our Ask a Librarian online enquiry form.

eInformation

If you are struggling to find good quality, reliable information for general interest, research or study, you can access the latest sources through our eInformation section.

It's your own free, virtual reference collection available on library computers or your own computer, tablet or smart phone, 24/7. (You will need your library card number.)

Homework help

Need help with your homework? Pop into your local library, where you'll find lots of resources to help you with your homework. You can also use our eInformation resources free on your own computer, tablet or smart phone, 24/7. (You will need your library card number.)
