Community hub (COVID-19)

Find help or volunteer to support others during the pandemic.

1 Overview

We are focused on making sure we can continue to support the most vulnerable people in our community.

We are working with the NHS, Public Health England and other partners to make sure we give you the help and support you need.

Through this page you can:

  • tell us you, or someone you know, needs help
  • volunteer your services to help us in our response to this virus.

2 Request support

The NHS is writing to people it has identified as at risk of severe illness if they catch coronavirus. This is because an underlying disease or health condition would make them more likely to be admitted to hospital than others.

If you have a medical condition that makes you extremely vulnerable to coronavirus (also known as COVID-19), please register for support via GOV.UK.

If you are in touch with friends, family or a support network in your community who can support you to get food and medicine, follow the advice in the letter.

If you have no one who can support you, please complete the following form to request support from us:

COVID-19 support request form (external link)

If you need support or advice please contact us.

3 Volunteer to help

Could you support people who need help because of the COVID-19 virus?

If so, let us know your skills and availability and we’ll get in touch to let you know how you can help.
