1 Vacuum cleaners

Broken and unwanted electrical appliances (such as vacuum cleaners) can be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling Site (HWRS).

Your local HWRS will accept a wide variety of electrical appliances for recycling such as toasters, microwaves, electric toothbrushes, lawn mowers, hairdryers, fridges, washing machines, power tools and so on.

Please don't put electrical appliances in your recycling bin at home, these will damage the sorting equipment at Ford Materials Recycling Facility (MRF)

2 Video cassettes

Video cassettes cannot be recycled as there is no secure or sustainable market to recycle them.

Please throw them away with your general rubbish.
