3 Light bulbs
Low energy light bulbs and fluorescent tubes contain mercury and are classed as hazardous waste.
Due to the mercury content in these items, they must not be thrown away with your general rubbish.
You can recycle these items by taking them to your local Household Waste Recycling Site (HWRS).
Please do not put low energy light bulbs or fluorescent tubes in your recycling bin at home.
Normal light bulbs cannot be recycled so should be thrown away with general rubbish.
LED lightbulbs can be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling Site but as they are classified as small WEEE (Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment) they must be put in the small WEEE container on site. Please do not put these in your home recycling bin.
