1 Ink cartridges

Ink cartridges cannot be recycled in your recycling bin at home or at the household waste recycling sites.

You could try opting for refillable ink cartridges, or some charities may accept used ink cartridges as a way to help raise money.

2 Irons

Broken and unwanted electrical appliances (such as irons) can be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling Site (HWRS).

Your local HWRS will accept a wide variety of electrical appliances for recycling such as toasters, microwaves, electric toothbrushes, lawn mowers, hairdryers, fridges, washing machines, power tools and so on.

Please don't put electrical appliances in your recycling bin at home as these will cause damage to the sorting equipment at Ford Materials Recycling Facility (MRF).
