Social care casual bank

Find out how to sign up to our social care casual bank.

The social care casual bank is an in-house service to be used by our teams across children’s and adult social care services and our occupational therapy teams, for when there is a need for additional support on an ad-hoc basis.

Whether you have tons of experience in different teams, a specialist in a particular area, or if you are still finding your feet, the bank could be the right opportunity for you.

Our bank offers you flexibility to work when it suits you, so is perfect if you have other priorities that your work needs to fit around.

"I enjoy the flexibility that working for the Casual Bank Service provides and it is excellent for work life balance. I've had the opportunity to undertake a variety of work with different children's teams/services and service users." Children's Social Worker
"The Casual Bank gives me the flexibility that I need as a working mum and student. I am able to choose the days I can work and at the same time fit in my university work. It also gives me the opportunity to gain experience in different work settings as I have the opportunity to take new contracts without having to go through the application process." Adults' Assistant Care Manager
