Report a child missing education

Please contact us if you are aware that a child is missing education.

It is the County Council's statutory role to identify children missing from education, and ensure that they get back into it.

Children who miss education run a higher risk of underachieving, becoming victims of abuse or neglect and becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) later on in life.

If you are aware of a child who is not currently attending school, or is being educated from home or elsewhere, please let us know.

The online form can be completed anonymously. We will complete any checks before contacting parents and carers.
