If you live in West Sussex or own a business in the county, please take part in our survey and tell us what matters to you!
Your answers will help shape West Sussex County Council’s future priorities and inform how the budget is set for 2019/20.
The survey takes eight to ten minutes to complete. You are asked to select three priority areas from the West Sussex Plan which you believe our resources should be focused on.
By taking part you can enter a free prize draw to win a £500 donation for a West Sussex-based registered charity of your choice. Terms and conditions can be found online.
As a council, we provide more than £500 million pounds of council services for over 821,000 residents.
This survey, which is now open for the next three months, provides you with the opportunity to influence how this money is distributed.
Following the last edition of the survey in 2016, your responses helped to define the council’s priorities - published within the aforementioned West Sussex Plan 2017-22. The following five areas were identified as the most vital:
- Giving our children and young people the best start in life,
- Ensuring West Sussex is a prosperous place,
- Our communities will be strong, safe and sustainable,
- We will support you in later life to remain independent,
- We will be a council that works for our communities
Feedback from the 2018 survey will help decide which three of the five priorities in the plan matter most to residents and will help ensure resource is focused on these areas.
