West Sussex County Council is working with a range of providers to put on Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) during the summer holidays.
It is for school children aged 4 to 16 who receive benefits-related free school meals. The programme is fully funded by the Department for Education and children and young people will be able to enjoy (free of charge) fun activities, as well as have a nutritional meal as part of the scheme.
Search for activities near you. Check if you are eligible for free school meals.

The summer activities will provide:
- healthy and nutritious meals for all children attending
- a wide range of fun and enriching activities
- education around healthy eating and preparing food
- a safe space for children to interreact with others.
In addition, FSM eligible families in West Sussex will be receiving a £15.00 voucher per child, per week from the County Council’s Covid-19 relief fund to cover the 6-week school Summer Holiday period. This will be administered by your child’s school prior to the summer school break up on Friday 23 July.
